Rhodium has a lot of benefits in terms of functions such as its level of hardness, which is resistant to scratches and guarantees durability and brilliance for a long time. To appreciate these factors, a use of rhodium is very suitable for a fountain pen.
Made of resin, chrome details, 14k gold nib available in: EF, F, SF, M, B, BB, SF and Music Nib*.
*The Platinum Music Nib is a true traditional three tined music nib, unlike some modern interpretations which might be more accurately described as “soft stub” nibs. The traditionally styled three tines allow for the ultimate precision in both nib flex and ink flow.
The “Chartres Blue” has incorporated the image of the blue color of the stained glasses in the Chartres Cathedral in France, which are said to be the most beautiful glasses in the world. The stained glasses that have a historic value are from the 11th to the 13th centuries and are known worldwide for their beauty. Particularly, the blue color, which is illuminated by light, expresses both deep and clear feelings and it is called “Chartres Blue.” The model was made with the image of the sacred color.
The innovative cap contains a unique “Slip & Seal mechanism” that prevents ink from drying out in the pen with a complete airtightness thereby allowing those who only use the pen once or twice a year to write with fresh new ink. Meanwhile, a newly redesigned nib and feed regulate the ink flow. The ink will not dry out even if left for over a year. An added benefit is improved resistance to leaks due to pressure changes.
